Inspired by the life-long salesman Alfredo “Sonny” De Luna, Sonny International Beauty Systems is a solon product distribution company honoring Sonny’s passion for customer service, quality experiences, and spreading positivity.

Sonny became an entrepreneur in the 5^th grade selling lemons door to door with his schoolmates. He was an outgoing kid with an infectious smile and consistently sold out. He was a reliable friend to the other children and often helped them sell their portions.

Sonny continued his entrepreneurial adventures and became the best friend and right hand of Robert “Bob” Armstrong of Armstrong McCall owned today by Beauty Systems Group, Inc. Bob assisted Sonny with a franchise opportunity and in a small garage Sonny’s second business was born. Sonny drove from town to town befriending many and visiting every salon he saw. He was so successful that he setup a brick & mortar store location and maintained one of the highest performing franchises.

Sonny believed in the goodness in people, treating customers like family, and commitment to maintaining relationships. Sonny’s core principles guided him to over 60 years of business success with several years as the #1 performing store in the region. In 2005 Sonny passed away, and in 2007 Sony International Beauty Systems was formed to honor Sonny’s core principles and to continue his legacy.
